School Age Child Care
The YMCA offers Before and After School Child Care at all
Kennewick Elementary Schools. YMCA
Child Care focuses
on enrichment programs for children ages 5-12. YMCA Child Care is a safe and
nurturing environment,
state-licensed, fun and best of all—affordable!
During the school year, children enrolled in YMCA school age
care get involved in a variety of enriching activities carefully designed to expand your
child's imagination, reinforce what they're learning in school, and
encourage life long positive values.
Curriculum includes reading, homework assistance,
arts & humanities, science and technology, and cultural awareness. Kids stay fit
through physical activities and sports, learn about volunteerism, and hone their
social competence and conflict resolution skills.
Character development is a big part of our YMCA programs and values such as
caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are an integral part of everything
we do.

access to programs because of financial hardship. The YMCA’s Financial
Assistance Program is supported by contributions from individuals and the United
