Our StaffMisty Fewel Misty Fewel serves as the Director of Girls on the Run of the Tri-Cities. Misty moved to the Tri-Cities in 2005 and later learned that Girls on the Run was not offered in our community. Thankfully she decided to do something about it and started the program in 2009 with the help of the YMCA. As an ice skating instructor, Misty has coached kids of all ages. She also earned a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California is 1998 and later a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan in 2002. She loves how Girls on the Run represents the perfect blend of both her MSW and MPH. Most importantly, Misty has a daughter, Hannah, who served as the inspiration for bringing Girls on the Run to the Tri-Cities. Mishawn Hess
