Girls on the Run



Spring 2012 Season Dates:

March 5th - May 17th, 2012
The end of the season is celebrated with the YMCA Bridge to Bridge 5k on Clover Island in Kennewick- May 19th, 2012.

Registration:

Download the 2012 Spring Girls on the Run/Girls on Track Registration form or register online. Registration opens February 6th, 2012.
Registrations accepted at either the Richland or Kennewick YMCA office and will not be accepted at program sites, via fax or email.

Cost:

The cost to participate is $99 (less than $5 per practice) which includes a Girls on the Run T-shirt, water bottle, a healthy snack at each practice, and participation in the GOTR/YMCA Community 5k event.

Y- Members receive a $10 discount on the registration fee.

5k Buddies

Each Girls on the Run girl will need a 5k Buddy to run or walk the end of the season celebratory 5k with. This season we will be running/walking in the 4th Annual Kadlec Jingle Bell Run. 5k buddies must be 18 or older and register for the 5k event. Non-family member 5k buddies are required to fill out a background check for the safety of your girls and other participants. Please download the 5k Buddy information and Registration here.

Financial Assistance

The YMCA makes every effort to ensure that no child will be denied access to programs dues to their families financial circumstances. Financial assistance is provided using a sliding fee scale. Applications are available at the YMCA office. The YMCA’s Financial Assistance Program is supported by individual contributions to the YMCA Annual Support Campaign and the United Way.
