The YMCA was chosen by the brand new The Cities Magazine as the local charity to receive a portion of their subscription proceeds.
The Cities Magazine is a full color business and entertainment guide to the Tri-Cities that brings the community together in the local "buzz" of the town. The Cities was created by Casey Bettendorf who explains,"Born and Raised in the Tri-Cities I often found myself asking, "What is there to do in this town?" Little did I know there was plenty to do I just couldn't find out when and where. After some time I came up with the solution, a full color quality magazine that highlights business and entertainment in the local area. Coming from a business oriented family helped me understand the importance of a business community and the support it needs to thrive. The Cities gives the community a chance to communicate bringing us together here in the Tri-Cities rather than pushing business and entertainment outward."
