Day Camps

Sign your kids up for a YMCA Day Camp and you’ll never hear the words Mom, I’m Bored again!

At YMCA Day Camp, growth is measured in days, not years. We offer Sports Camp during the summer and state-licensed Day Camp for kids ages 5-12 (5 year olds must have completed Kindergarden) during winter, spring, and summer school breaks.

Day camps allow kids to enjoy a camp experience while returning home at the end of the day. Y Camps are packed full of adventure with activities like arts and crafts, swimming, skating, sports, games, and field trips. During our Summer Sports Camp, kids enjoy a similar variety of activities, but focus is on learning the fundamentals of a new sport each week.

We create an inclusive environment to help kids build self-confidence, discover new skills and make new friends. Best of all, you can be assured that while your kids are having a blast during their school break, they are being well cared for by professional YMCA staff.

Location

Camps are located throughout the Tri-Cities area. However, space is limited at each location, so sign up early to guarantee your child’s spot.

Safety

Safety is a top priority in programming at the YMCA. This includes both physical safety and the security of knowing every child is welcomed and nurtured. Policies, procedures and trainings are established in order to keep the children in our programs safe.

The YMCA is committed to providing a staff of well-trained counselors for the development of self-reliance and personal growth of each child. With a low camper/counselor ratio, combined with an emphasis on safety and the well being of each child, campers will experience an atmosphere of fun they remember for years to come.
